First release from the invisible salon cell known as blank badge.
The recording was conceived as a ritual to tap into the memetic spirit of comic book writer, musician and mystic grant morrison, in order to seek a blessing of sorts.
Though no blessing has been forthcoming in any precise sense members of blank badge reported experiencing an altered and perhaps heightened sense of being as well as hearing grants voice as if coming out of their own mouth and seeing a version of his head manifesting in the objects of the room and in a more vaporous manner projected on the blank white wall of the room.
Members stood around an omnibus copy of the Invisibles with a smile grenade placed on top as a sort of ritual assemblage to focus their collective intent.
The majority of the tracks are mood and atmosphere setting, the actual mantrasonic itself took the form of a repeated phrase and various versions of a guitar riff.
The album was accidentally recorded in reverse order.
